Welcome to the official website for Center Point Church! We are an established church (1927) with a renewed vision. We are located in West Hamlin, WV.
We Connect on Sundays for worship and proclaim the Gospel through preaching and teaching. We love kids and on Sunday mornings there are classes for every age group. We love music and we have a lot of talented musicians and singers who use their gifts during worship. Throughout the week, we Grow in small groups and then Serve and Go on mission in the community.
Check out our Center Point 101 page for more information about our church.

We offer multiple services during the week. Our service times are:
Sundays 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Wednesdays 6:30 PM (Youth) and 7:00 PM
Many people worry about what to wear to church. Our people dress in a variety of ways and you will be comfortable at Center Point in pants, a dress, jeans, or a suit. We provide transportation through our bus ministry for every service. You must call the church at least two hours before service and leave a message in order to be picked up.
You can be a part of what God is doing here. We invite you and your family to Come and See all the great things God is doing at Center Point.
Small Groups are an important part of our strategy to build community in our church and reach the community in which we live. Small groups are places to connect with the church, build friendships, pray together, learn the Bible, and to serve one another. As the Church grows larger it must grow smaller.
There are several ways to join a small group. You can find a group that fits your schedule and click the "Join a Small Group" button below or just let one of the Pastors know when you are at the church.

Center Point offers Sunday School classes for every age group. Every Sunday morning there is a lesson grounded in Scripture, music, and activities. Sunday School is one of the primary ways we disciple and teach our children in the church.
Teen ministry is a major part of our youth ministry at Center Point. We have several dedicated adult leaders who work with our teens. Activities include several dedicated small groups, serving others in the youth group, activities and trips, and service in the community.
Center Point’s Youth Group is one of the most active youth ministries in our area. Every week, youth from the community experience faith, food, fun, and fellowship in safe environment. We are also involved in promoting adoption and foster care in the community.

Center Point takes the Great Commission seriously. Jesus said in Acts 1:8 "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." This is our mission.
Center Point has employs a network “Antioch” model of influence where we are one church that impacts many locations. This model allows our church to have the resources of a larger church while maintaining the presence of the local church in each community.
Here are a few of the ways we serve corporately:

We believe that the church can influence culture and impact the community as it once did by engaging though media. Engaging through social media, writing, and video production will provide the platform we need to reach people with the Gospel.
Center Point offers church based training for qualified current and future leaders in the church. Leaders will receive ongoing assessment, coaching, mentoring, and placement assistance both during and after the program.
Pastoral Training lasts for one year and is completed at Center Point. Participants may also seek ordination. During this time, the participant will function and participate as an Elder in the church.
We currently support:
